Daejeon Eulji Medical Center, Eulji University was selected as a regional center for Neonatal Intensive Care in 2015 and opened in April 2016. Daejeon Eulji Medical Center, Eulji University expanded the number of beds with a national support, and added 7 beds additionally. In addition to the 13 beds currently operated, a total of 30 beds of neonatal intensive care unit would be operated. This is expected to be a great help to relieve a shortage in the number of beds in the neonatal intensive care unit in Daejeon, Chungnam and Sejong.
